Crediton Climate Action (CCA) is a network of local people who share these concerns. Our aim is to raise awareness in our community and also to mobilise action in order to respond effectively and positively to these challenges. Why not join us?
The group is open to all: whether you are a seasoned campaigner or are just beginning to find out how these issues will affect us all, you are welcome to come along and get involved.

New member Rebecca Megson talks about her experiences after recently joining CCA:
"Joining Crediton Climate Action (CCA) is a brilliant thing to do and - speaking as one of the newest members – something I would wholeheartedly recommend!
Through CCA I have been able to link into a network of people with similar concerns about environmental issues, who are also enthusiastic (but not scary!) about what can be achieved through taking a local, practical and organised approach to create change.
Meetings with the Plastic Bag group – a workstream of CCA – are informal, friendly and engaging. Open to ideas, inputs and thoughts from all attendees, tasks and actions are discussed, tested through conversation and debate to ensure they are not to onerous but do get the job at hand done.
I am extremely proud to be part of a group that is working towards enabling Crediton to go plastic bag free and in doing so become the largest town of it’s kind to achieve this status in the UK so far.
